Taipei 8D7N Free and Easy trip ( Day 2)


Day 2 - Family Trip to Taiwan - 3/10/12  (Wednesday)

9:00 am - Morning, we met up in front of Hotel before heading to Xi Mending Mrt.
(We have a big group people - total 13 paxs)












































We were planning to have breakfast at Taipei city hall before heading to Taipei Zoo.
However, a lot of stores and shops had not yet opened. Asking the security guard there, then only we realized their shops/stores opened only at 11/1130 am. 

Fortunetely, we saw quick mart, which we can bought some slight breakfast like sandwich, sushi to feed our hungry stomach.

 10 am - Taking Mrt from Taipei City Hall to Taipei zoo


The man is my lovely dad :)

Taipei Zoo was really big. and requested a lot of walking unless you took a train. 
We would like to take a walk, to let little one walked around and play under the sun...

It was time to slow down our pace and enjoy the nature beauty, God creation!!

This Bear statue has attracted us ...
This water system has attracted my girl, she is trying to pump the water out...at the end, she made it by herself :D

Time to Visit Surper Star - PANDA!!








Tuan Tuan & Yuan Yuan - Are you able to differentiate which is Tuan Tuan and which is yuan Yuan ? :)

My little one more focus on camera instead TT & YY because she want to take photo if TT and YY!!

After visiting Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan, we moved on to panda souvenir shop, which was at level 1..
I can said the souvenir there were really cheapest yet quality. We bought a lot of small toys, pen as a gifts to friends. Another things we bought are slippers and it was about NT160. We bought 3 pair - one for my mother in law, one for my cutie and one for myself...it was super comfort ..How do i know? Because I changed and wore it on the spot..:D

( Not manage to take photo inside the souvenir shop for we were too busy shopping and look after the little one..she was running around and shopping too...phew!!)


Second level...was another souvenir shop( I should said it more like exhibition) , there have cafe too...

See My dad started his imagination and pose while photo shoot him...heehee..:D


Inside the second level souvenir shop, there was book stall...see how they designed their shop...I love it!!
Quick to give My mother in law a quick shot..





After visiting Panda, It was time to move on again...
Due to have elder and Kid, we decided to take train to tour the zoo...

A bit disappointed, we did not see any animals while we were in the train...while they stopped, we decided to let elder sit and rest and we took a walk to explore more animal before heading to MaoKong..

After visiting some animals, we decided move to Maokong...cause stomach already made noise!!  

1 pm - we took shuttle bus to Maokong station.













Fare is based on number of station travelled (there's only 3 stations), ranging from NT$30 - NT$50...
Taipei zoo south station to maokong station  about nt 40  Or
Taipei zoo station to maokong station is about nt 50

There were two type of cabins. One is crystal cabin ( cabins with glass bottoms), another is normal. We chose normal type.

Finally we reached Maokong 




















We took about 15 min walk before reached  大茶壺

We were planning to have lunch there. we have ordered course!! Foods are Yummy!




(original price is Nt 4000 per 10 paxs )
But believe portion was big enough so we shared among 12/13 ppl ( nt 4000/12 pax),( per pax about nt 333 = SGD 14/15

After Late lunch, when we came down from Maokong, it was already evening time...




We passed by the playground, of course, my little girl wont give it a MISS!!


Time to back to hotel to get some rest...
